  1. Relative Progestational Activity: 0.8 (moderate)

  1. Indications to switch to Ortho Cyclen
    1. Acne Vulgaris (lower androgen)
    2. Increased Appetite (lower Progestin)
    3. Major Depression provoked (lower Progestin)
  2. Indications to switch to Demulen 1/35
    1. Breast Tenderness or engorgement (lower Estrogen)
    2. Break-through bleed days 10-21 (more Progestin)
    3. Headaches (lower Estrogen)
    4. Heavy Menses (more Progestin or less Estrogen)
    5. Dysmenorrhea or Menstrual Cramps (more Progestin)
    6. Moodiness (less Estrogen or more Progestin)
