Gastroesophageal Reflux
Take 20 mg orally daily for 4 to 16 weeks
Duodenal Ulcer
Take 20 mg orally daily for 4 weeks
Zollinger Ellison Syndrome
Take 60 mg orally daily (up to twice daily)

Child
Age 1 to 11 years
Weight <15 kg: Give 5 mg orally once daily (maximum 10 mg/day) for up to 8 weeks
Weight >15 kg: Give 10 mg orally once daily for up to 8 weeks
Age >=12 years
Give 20 mg orally daily for up to 8 weeks
Pharmacokinetics
All PPIs have short plasma half life of 1-2 hours
Effect is delayed 5-7 days until proton pumps are fully blocked
