  1. Moderate to severe inflammatory Acne Vulgaris

  2. Weight <33 kg

  • Dosing
  • Adults (and children age >9 years)
  1. Weight 33 to 54 kg
    1. Take 60 mg orally once daily with fluids
  2. Weight 55 to 84 kg
    1. Take 100 mg orally once daily with fluids
  3. Weight 85 to 136 kg
    1. Take 150 mg orally once daily with fluids

  • Drug Interactions
  1. Avoid the following specific agents around the time of the oral dose
    1. Antacids (aluminum, Magnesium or Calcium containing Antacids)
    2. Iron Supplements
    3. Bismuth Subsalicylate
