Dosing
Adult (or child age >13 years, weight > 45 to 50 kg)
Standard Dosing
Take 400 mg orally divided once daily
Gonorrhea
Take 400 mg orally for single dose
Child (age <13 years or weight < 45 to 50 kg)
Standard Dosing
Give 8 mg/kg/day divided daily to twice daily
Febrile
Urinary Tract Infection
Give 16 mg/kg orally on day 1, then 8 mg/kg/day daily for 14 days
Renal Dosing
eGFR 21 to 60 ml/min (or

): Decrease usual dose to 75%
