  1. Vaginal pH Regulators/modulators create a vaginal acidic environment that reduces Sperm Motility
  2. Thick, viscous gel may also retard Sperm Motility
  • Medications
  1. Phexxi
    1. Vaginal, tan gel containing Lactic Acid, citric acid, and Potassium bitartrate
    2. Each single-dose vaginal applicator (5 g) with plunger is individually wrapped in a foil pouch
    3. Supplied in box of 12 units
    4. Store at room Temperature (20-25 C, 68 to 77 F)
  • Dosing
  1. Phexxi
    1. Apply vaginally immediately before intercourse (or up to an hour before)
    2. Repeat application for each episode of intercourse

    2. Vaginal Yeast Infection
    3. Bacterial Vaginosis

    1. Vulvovaginal burning Sensation
