Acute Generalized Exanthematous Pustulosis, AGEP

  • Pathophysiology
  • Symptoms
  1. Rash onset within four days of offending medication exposure
  • Signs
  1. Fever
  2. Rash
    1. Onset at flexor surfaces (e.g. neck, axilla, antecubital fossa, popliteal fossa)
    2. Tiny, non-follicular Pustules
  • Management
  1. Eliminate the offending agent
  2. Consider Topical Corticosteroids
