Symptoms
Bleeding from friable lesion
Occurs with minimal

Lesions may also ulcerate
Signs
Characteristics: Initial
Small bright red, purple to yellow dome-shaped
Papule
Grows rapidly into
Nodule
up to 2 cm in size, over weeks to months
Moist, glistening surface
Often pedunculated, pulpy, friable vascular lesions
Surrounded by
Scaling
collarette (red, brown or white)
Characteristics: Later
Fibrous lesion similar to fibroma
