  1. Weight-based adjustment
    1. Weight over 90 kg: Dose at 90 kg
    2. Weight under 60 kg: Dose at 60 kg
  2. Age under 65 years old
    1. Starting dose: 6.5 mg/kg (up to 16.5 ml max)
    2. Supplemental dose: 1.6 mg/kg IV every 4 minutes (up to 4 ml max)
  3. Age 65 years and older (or severe systemic disease)
    1. Dose at 75% of that listed above

  1. Activity is same as Propofol once metabolized
  2. Prodrug for Propofol
    1. Metabolized to Propofol by Alkaline Phosphatase
    2. Equivalence to Propofol is 1 mmol to 1 mmol
  3. Drug Abuse potential
    1. Schedule IV Drug
    2. Clear liquid that can be mixed with water
    3. Orally absorbed
    4. Onset of action is 4 minutes delayed beyond onset of Propofol (due to metabolism step)
