  3. Prior Corticosteroid Injection at heel (e.g. Plantar Fasciitis)
  • Symptoms
  1. Deep Bruise-like Heel Pain at mid-heel
  2. Worse with walking barefoot or on hard surfaces
  • Signs
  1. Palpation of mid-heel reproduces symptoms
  • Management
  1. Rest
  2. Ice
  3. NSAIDs
  4. Athletic taping
  5. Heel cup
  6. Footwear modification
