- Compress iliac crests between examiners two hands
- Pelvic Instability on Compression
- Suggests unstable Pelvic Fracture in the setting of significant Trauma
- Apply Pelvic Binder if Unstable Pelvic Fracture is suspected
- Patient lying on their side (Clinic Low Back Exam)
- Apply manual pressure downward to iliac crest
- Pain on compression (Clinic Low Back Exam)
- Suggests pelvic dysfunction
- Pain at sacroiliac joint or Symphysis Pubis
