  • Indications
  1. Pheochromocytoma (other tests used more often)
  2. Neuroblastoma diagnosis or monitoring
  3. Suspected Multiple endocrine adenomatosis
  4. Thyroid Medullary Carcinoma
    1. Evaluation for coexisting Pheochromocytoma
  • Labs
  • Normal Levels
  1. Age 3-8 years: less than 2.3 mg per day
  2. Age 9-12 years: less than 3.4 mg per day
  3. Age 13-17 years: less than 3.9 mg per day
  4. Adults: less than 6.7 mg per day
