  • Advantages
  1. Only solution that reliably penetrates comedones
  2. Reaches bactericidal levels within comedones
  • Disadvantages
  1. Resistance develops in 25% of patients within 6 months
    1. Use in combination with Benzoyl Peroxide (e.g. Benzaclin or seperate preparations)
