Mechanism
Forces epidermal cells to produce keratin
Keratin is softer and more flexible
Keratin is less likely to crack and fissure
Adverse Effects
May burn for few minutes with first applications
Do not replace or add to oil barrier
Dosing
Dry Skin
Use once to twice per day for 3 weeks
Taper frequency to 1-3 days per week
Aging
Apply 1-2 days each week
