  1. Score -1: Vasovagal symptom predisposition
  2. Score 1: Heart disease history
  3. Score 2: Any systolic Blood Pressure reading <90 mmHg or >180 mmHg

  1. Score 2: Troponin elevated
  2. Score 1: QRS Axis abnormal (<30 or >100 degrees)
  3. Score 1: QRS Duration >130 ms
  4. Score 2: QTc >480 ms

  1. Score -2: Vasovagal Syncope
  2. Score 2: Cardiac Syncope
  • Interpretation (based on the sum of all 9 criteria)
  1. Score -3 to 0: Very low risk (serious adverse events <=0.9% in 30 days)
  2. Score 1: Low Risk (serious adverse events <=1.9% in 30 days)
  3. Score 2 to 3: Medium risk (serious adverse events 3.8 to 7.5% in 30 days)
  4. Score 4 to 5: High risk (up to 25% serious adverse event rate)
  5. Score >=6: Very high risk (up to 75% serious adverse event rate)
