  • Indications
  • Contraindications
  1. Diagnostic ERCP (too high risk for diagnostic purposes only)
    1. Replaced by MRCP, endoscopic Ultrasound
  • Complications
  • Occur in 4-10% of cases
  1. Acute Pancreatitis (highest risk, reduced with pancreatic stenting)
  2. Hemorrhage
  3. Perforation
  4. Ascending Cholangitis
  5. Cholecystitis
