Age 30 to 40 year old peak onset
Rare, benign soft tissue tumor of the plantar foot
Symptoms
Burning pain or numbness in the affected foot region
Possible nodular swelling in the region of the schwannoma
Differential Diagnosis
Morton's Neuroma
Management
Follow asymptomatic growths
Refer for surgical excision if symptomatic (biopsy and histology recommended)
