- Onchocerciasis (age 12 years and older)

- Drug levels persist for months after dose

Orthostatic Hypotension
- Encephalopathy
- Occurs with coinfection with Loa loa
- Evaluate for Loa loa prior to treatment
- Onchodermatitis exacerbation
- Associated with hyperreactive Onchodermatitis (Sowda)
