  • Indications
  1. Assess DVT Pretest Probability
  • Criteria
  1. Score 6: Abnormal D-Dimer Result
  2. Score 2: Difference in Calf Circumference >=3 cm
  3. Score 1: Leg Trauma absent
  4. Score 1: Active cancer in the last 6 months
  5. Score 1: Collateral leg vein distention
  6. Score 1: Male gender assigned at birth
  7. Score 1: Surgery in prior month
  8. Score 1: Hormonal Contraception use
  • Interpretation
  1. Score <=3: Low risk for DVT
  2. Score >=4: Increased DVT Risk (obtain DVT Ultrasound)
