- High Risk for Ovarian Cancer
- Hereditary Ovarian Cancer Syndromes (BRCA1, BRCA2, Lynch II)
- Oophorectomy at age 35 or when childbearing complete
- Estrogen Replacement after oophorectomy
- Reduces Ovarian Cancer risk
- Peritoneal Primary papillary serous tumors may occur
- Premenopausal oophorectomy increases risk of cognitive decline
- Higher risk with younger age at oophorectomy
- Risk is countered if Estrogen Replacement is continued to age 50 years
