Salicylic Acid Plaster, Mediplast

  • Preparation
  1. Salicylic Acid Plaster 40% (Mediplast)
  • Technique
  1. Precede application with warm water soaks 10-15 min
  2. Cut plaster to fit exactly over wart
    1. Consider using hole punch
  3. Secure with adhesive tape at bedtime
  4. Remove in morning
    1. Alternatively leave in place for 24 to 48 hours
  5. Carefully scrape away macerated wart tissue
    1. Consider use of pumice stone

  2. Expect slow resolution over the course of months
